Emotional Intelligence (EI) is a highly covered topic in seminars, training, and books. Research is clear that EI has a significant impact on individual, team and organizational success. Further, the connection of EI to effective leadership is substantial. Perhaps even more foundational and impactful is understanding that for each of us, developing our EI can lead us to experience more balance and success in our personal and professional lives and relationships. So far 2020 for most of us has been a year like no other, with extreme levels of challenges and uncertainty. If there is one thing each of us can do to navigate our lives more productively, with less stress, and more control, it is committing to take ownership of, and focus on, our growth inwardly, and therefore our impact outwardly – and that is exactly what developing our EI allows us to do.

Presented by Linda Lafortune and Bill Partin, this workshop will help participants understand:

• Definition of Emotional Intelligence (EI)
• The components of EI: defined and explained
• How EI connects to building personal effectiveness and effective relationships
• Concepts and techniques to begin or continue EI development
• The impact EI has on leadership success
