About the Speaker

Dr. Antwain Tate Goode

Antwain Tate Goode, PhD, is a “Leadership Architect” and native of Richmond,
Virginia. To begin with, Dr. Goode was reared in the Fairfield Court Housing Development and
lived in the inner city of Churchill for most of his life. It is here were his incredible
determination to develop began. Dr. Goode is the president of Tate Consulting, a dynamic
leadership organization which specializes in professional consulting services. Growing in his role
he believes that the key to his company success stems from their company standards which are
Spirituality, Passion, Tenacity, Vision, Attitude, Power, and Trust which are necessary to help
him keep his team together.

Dr. Goode is married to a dynamic, faith filled woman, Andrea Lamone Goode for
19 years and is a proud dad of two amazing children, Kennedy a junior IB student at Parkland
High School and Harrison a sophomore STEM student at Atkins High School. As the leader at
Tate Consulting, we as a team believe in developing people from the inside out, and that starts
internally with our culture. As such, he wants individual purpose and passion to drive the
company. At Tate Consulting we as a team, know that our gifts and talents are to be shared!
We create unique customized work solutions that sharpen human resource management, provide
strategies for organizational transformation, and develop designs for high-performance teams.
We are big picture people who serve with precision and fight to deliver leadership concepts that
can be shared at work, at home, and in the community.

Dr. Goode holds a doctorate of philosophy in the field of Organization and Management
with a specialization in Leadership from Capella University. The specialization helped to refine
his current manufacturing skill sets and to develop leadership concepts, which can be applied to
dynamic global settings. His quantitative research study on Authentic Leadership Theory and
Moral Potency Theory provided insight to the Organization and Management body of
knowledge, as current research had not explored the gap that exists between leader moral
consciousness when making moral decisions and the factors that contribute to individual honesty
and self-worth. Working in the U.S. manufacturing sector for over 25 years has provided
intangible experience for Dr. Goode to share new collaborative approaches to team learning.

To compliment his PhD, Dr. Goode holds a High Point University MBA and has served
as an adjunct professor of communication, business, leadership, and marketing. During his
studies, he was able to travel abroad to strengthen his business acumen for international markets.
Visiting the Volvo manufacturing plant in Gothenburg Sweden, Lloyds of London, Rome,
Florence, Madrid, Cabo San Lucas, The European Embassy, and Barcelona provided strong
opportunities to examine global supply chain solutions, diverse financial environments, strategic
management, managerial ethics, diverse organizational behavior, and executive leadership
creativity.

The mission of his company is simple:

“To change a life one person at a time through leadership development training!”
