The following topics will be explored:

 

I. Understanding Change; Change is Psychological in Nature

a. To understand how to influence and proactively manage change, we must first understand the nature of change and its impact on organizations.

*Learning Objective: Audience will leave with insight into how change impacts performance in your organization, how to detect and avoid derailment of change efforts, and what are our roles as leaders to manage successful change efforts in your organization.

 

II. What does it Mean to be Change Capable vs. Change

Responsive?

a. The do’s and don’ts of change management processes

b. Adult Learning Theory as a catalyst for change efforts

c. Where to focus your efforts

*Learning Objective: Audience will learn critical concepts for designing and informing change capable efforts. More specifically, the audience will learn how to motivate adults, who are by and large resistant to new learning and behavior change, to adopt change efforts that are critical to organizational success.

 

III. How Micro Tools Lead to Macro Change

a. Equipping yourselves and your organization with tools to manage change effectively

*Learning Objective: Audience will walk away with real tools to use when faced with change as well as learn measures of success that indicate you are on the right path.
