Looking at the difference between transactional leadership and transformational leadership, participants will be guided through the four main elements of transformational leadership. Participants will leave with a greater sense of the strengths and risks of being a transformational leader, where they fall on that leadership spectrum, and ideas on how to transform their work.

Jacinta White is the owner of The Word Project, certified facilitator, and former corporate trainer with Forsyth Tech.  She has her BA in Speech Communications from UNC-Greensboro and her Master of Public Administration degree from Georgia State University. Jacinta comes with decades of experience working in leadership in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors; and has lead training series for organizations such as Hospice & Palliative Care, Hanesbrands, Inmar, the City of Winston-Salem, and Forsyth Co. You may also know Jacinta for her creative work as an award-winning, published poet (who received a grant this year from the Arts Council of Winston-Salem/Forsyth Co), or as founder and editor of Snapdragon: A Journal of Art & Healing.
